Our low-smoke halogen-free compounds, commonly known as LSHF*, are developed under the MEGOLON® brand and formulated with the properties required for a wide variety of fiber cables, both in jacketing and insulation. This includes communication, power, energy, control, industrial automation, hybrid, and specialty cables. These grades are designed to meet CPR performance ranges from B2 to E, as well as NEC flame ratings up to UL 1666 riser*. Their excellent mechanical properties and oil resistance make Megolon® a versatile and adaptable material for various markets.

Since testing is performed on the complete cable and not on the compound alone, material selection depends on the entire cable design.
